We as consumers are in the sweet spot at the moment with some great fins available and I was lucky enough to test Martin's latest fin at LG last week and bench mark it against my Fangy 28.
The board was a 120/78 wide with a 7.7 in 15-18 kts of flat to small chop.
The test fin was a 24 which is a great comparison to the Fangy.
The fit and finish is excellent and its narrower and fits further back than the Fangy, but there was no issues with trying to get the sail further back in the track. The balance felt good.
Up wind there's less drive on the Atomic, across the wind both fin are very similar but off the wind is where this fin rocks. I even ran it from the top of the lake to the bottom through the chop with Zero issues. Nm of 31.3 isn't too bad on big kit for me. The peaks of speed were similar for both fins with the Atomic slightly higher and it would be an easier fin to drive towards 40. Both fins into the 38s.

Conclusion
If your looking for a light wind fin, 5-10kts then this may not be the right size/shape for you and a Fangy maybe a better fit. But if you're looking for something to get your bigger board rocking towards 40 and depth is a bit of an issue then this is your fin. 15-18 Kts and a big board.......Perfect.
I like this fin so much the I've ordered a 22 for my Sl66/110
Brilliant work Martin

I used Martin's prototype 24 delta on 4 consecutive days at LG in late January on my Fanatic Falcon 115 (72 wide) with 7.7 and 7.0 sails in wind varying from 10 to 20kts. I concur with Kato's assessment. It's a great fun with plenty of drive upwind, secure in calf high chop and brilliant off the wind.

Thanks for the positive feedback and I am stoked that you are enjoying the fins. What is really great is that Australian Windsurfers are spoiled for choice with Australian designed products. We have Fangy's aluminium Delta's, Pepe's fins, Chris Lockwood designed Tribal fin range and my Atomicsurf range.
Then when it comes to boards we have OES, Stone Surf, NXS, Mark OZ....CarbonArt over the ditch, my Atomicsurf built by OES and CarbonArt ( apologies if I missed someone) and of course the Severne
Boards and sails designed by Hoop and Ben.
Oh, and KA

Go Oz!!!

Just a note that I am changing the proposed name...Ground Zero to Nuclear Weed. I am concerned that the former name encourages Windsurfing in extremely shallow water, something that I consider very risky and potentially extremely dangerous. The short 50 degree fins are for small boards in heavy weed.

Thanks Martin
