Could get a good deal on one soon, but haven't read much reviews on that particular model...

Tried the 110 today, quite hard to get on the plane (I'm 92 kg) but once it gets going the comfort and handling is perfect.
Gybes were smooth and on a rail, wasn't amazed by top speed but conditions were funny.....

I use a patrik 115 about 80% of the time . mainly with 7.8 or 6.2 slalom sails. I weight about 100 kg
Like most slalom boards it doesnt really get comfortable till you get back foot in the strap and then it just goes. the sweet spot is when you lift the leeward rail and get it riding up on the fin. the front 3/4 of the board kinda hovers and just skims over the tops of the chop. The flat rocker and double concave lets you ride up on the fin without it tail walking.
Best speed so far is about 35 knots on it.
Gybing is a dream - really good if you do strap to strap gybes- it lets you keep the speed up and do a nice big arc.
It likes a decent sized fin as the tail is quite wide - i use 38 or 42 depending on the wind strength. i tried witha 34 and it just felt all wrong.

No but had a blast on a demo felt fast.needed a better fin to reach its full potenial.l was using a 39cm select as I said strap a Potent slalom fin to it & I thick the board would be a little Fanger!

la 115 pd fait 231,7 x 69,5 cm - 115 litres jauges ISAF.
Pratiquement les memes cotes que ta firerace 112, un poil plus volumineuse : 117 litres.
il y en a une d'occase, comme neuve a vendre...

Sorry, I just said that the PD115 have the same width that SEAN's firerace 112 but a little bit less volume 115 vs 117 liters...

I sail this board, I am your weight or a little lighter. I like the comfort of knowing if the winds drops out I can make it home. I can uphaul and tack and not sink on this board!

Ludovic Jossin registered this board on the world cup as did Patrik Diethelm and many others on the Patrik team. I think Maciek Rutkowski used the 110. Karin Jaggi uses it as her light wind board. The men use it in quite strong winds I would say.

I like to sail it with a 7.7m. I remember the first time I sailed it. It was on Lake Danger (thats what we call the place as its pretty tame) I was picked up by a big gust from the west and was thrown to the other end of the lake. I instantly liked the board.

The board is PWA registered full competition board, its lightweight with the very best materials to give the rider every chance of success whether it be beating your mates or competing.

Not sailed the 115 but today in 15-30 knots sailed my new 2nd hand 100 litre which is 64.5cm.

Compared to the 110,which is 68cm wide,the 100 feels like a conventional windsurfer!

Meaning does not feel too wide like many of the newer designs.

Had a 5.6m code-red and 36cm rocket and was overpowered in the gusts.Switched to a softer 36cm Ex fin and managed to stay nearly sheeted in.

This board with a soft fin is not much short of topspeed compared to a small slalom board,half a knot or so.Feels faster than the 110 in powered up conditions no doubt,with a very soft forgiving ride.Almost feels like a free-ride board.
