Are they prone to stop every few minutes from overheating?

It was 7C when I was sailing yesterday so maybe it would run longer? (Yeah, my fingers hated me even with the palmless mittens)

Fascinating camera, though.

Got one. Awesome little camera but not one you leave running like a GoPro. Really needs to be in reach to turn on and off. You can program the button to turn off automatically after a set period.

I don't have the GO 2, but the One X2. And that's THE camera you want to have for windsurfing:
- 100% perfect stabilization, even when blasting full speed over chop at the limit
- You don't need to worry about the camera angle, tilt horizon... the only thing that matters is the mounting location.
- battery lasts about the double time compared to my GoPro Hero 8. Turn it on and just forget about it in the next 1h 20 min.
- best is to mount the camera on a special harness (60A$) and the invisible stick. Gives you like a "drone followsyou " impression.
