Straps forward today, way more composed. Didn't feel as fast but I was knot faster again. It,s a rocket ship, fastest I have ever done on Port Phillip Bay. Tested and gets a tick!!!
No not scaled...wish it was that simple. Same rocker and V angles, concaves narrower proportionally than the smaller one so it's more flat V , less double concave. A cm shorter. It will be used in lighter winds and consequently waves not as big so a bit less emphasis on the really rough water. Compared to a PWA slalom board it is a touch longer and narrower in the tail with the design having more emphasis on straight line speed and ease when sail deep angles with it,s less extreme stance, the tradeoff being a bit of upwind performance and acceleration out of gybes. Always a trade off!!
Alias.....it's what the major car companies use for creative design and that being my job I guess I am pretty good at it. Not sure there is a better software for accurate creative design surfacing but sure many people will have other opinions on that.
Interesting on the alias. I have been on proe/wildfire/creo for 20 years. I can usually get it to do what i want. Your boards look great from over here!
I have done......have quite a number on file but can't justify a new speed board as I use mine twice a year, haven't been to Sandy Point since November.
Had the 64 proto at Sandy Point today. Around 25 knots , too square for proper speed runs. Ran off about 3 40 plus knot peaks on it...fastest 40.99. Spotti did a 41.6 on it. Running a Tribal Powermax 30 . Pretty happy with those speeds....
