First rig of my 2016 Simmer Style Icon HD 5.6m. Simmer now have 2 versions of the Icon a light-weight Monofilm/X-Ply/Q-Ply version and the HD a super durable all X-Ply/Q-Ply construction. I went for the HD for the added durability and it looks better . They have also added the new red colour option which I think looks good. They have also added a loop strap to the top of the luff making de-rigging easier as you can stick a screw driver in the ground and loop the strap round it and easily pull your mast out of the luff.

Easy sail to rig. it rigged to spec seems there will be a bit of adjustment in the out haul so you can set for full body for power in lighter winds or flatten it out a bit for over powered condition. Need some wind now to get it out on the water and see how it goes.
