I have 2012 Ka Koncept 6.6 and Ka 2012 430 RDM mast, i can't get the sail to rig right, it feel flat comparing to my Ka Koncept 7.5 or 8.5 i use a SDM mast with these sails and love them. I can't find KA SDM mast in the states, what other brand will work with 6.6

I use NP x9's on mine and they work well.

I tried that mast on my 2011 Koncept 6.6 as well and totally agree it is nowhere near good. I use a powerex speed and it rigs great. Any constant curve mast within the bend characteristics outlined on the KA site will work. North are also a good match.

Like GH mentioned any constant curve SDM 430 mast 75-100% should do the job with the Koncept 6.6.

The RDM mast's will defiantly make the entry foil on the sail a bit flatter, compared to a SDM mast.

It's a personal choice. Some like the RDM feeling for the overall softer handling and others the SDM for their stability.

Didn't realise the 2012 rigs on a 430 mast. The 2011 rigs on a 460 so the 430 I used was obviously a softer mast than the recommended plus been an RDM also changed the feel which is why in my case it was totally different to normal setup.

The KA sail agent in the US just got some KA SDM mast yesterday, i guess i will go with the KA.
