Wow, what a fantastic sail. I tested the 4.7 and 5.2 at Corros over the last few days.

The springyness or spongy feeling the previous versions were infamous for is no longer. The 2010 is light and tight. A real crisp feeling.

The power seems to come from just above the boom and is more central rather than pulling from the front hand.

The sails rigs with no pre shape and looks really flat with no batten rotation. However, as soon as the wind fills the sail it develops a nice profile. Even in overpowered conditions the sail maintains its profile and behaves very controlled. I was comfortable on my 4.7 while others were on 4.2 and some were rigging 3.7.

The sail is nice and light in the hands which makes it really good for freestyle as well wave riding. As the 2010 is tighter than previous versions the sail doesn't get overpowered when back winded.

Don't be put off by the polker dots. The designer must have been a kiter in his previous life.

Overall, I am extremely surprised and very happy with the 2010 Tushingham Rock. Summing up I would say: Light and tight together with polker dots what a sight!
