Just saw JoLee rigging up a 4.5m, perhaps a little optimistic.....wind has a lot of North in it...looks promising....approx 15-18knots at the moment.

A few crew at Currumbin. Captain Kirk the usual stayer. Was a washing machine but good workout. Easier than normal in a strong northerly as banks seem to have formed out wide. May be a good season.

Ended up having a ripper of a time for 1 or so hours on the 5.4m / freestyle wave even managed a couple of duckies; till I slashed my foot on those darn oyster infested rocks lucking under the water next to the steps at manly Looks like the last time I sail without booties there. There goes the weekend sail Thanks again Julien for derigging my gear.

Had a session out near sea-world with Patric on his 7.2 and me on 5.2m strange thing is we both had the right sail 50% of the time, did one run from the seaway wall to Southport yacht club, fantastic until i had to dredge back 2km
