can you tell me how these kites and the foil ones are so fast, to me they are so fat they should have a lot of drag but they can do great speed in to the wind and also on really broad reach's. the winds where 20 to 30 knots up here and the kite race boards and the foils were traveling just about 160 deg of the wind and looked to be going a lot faster than the wind . it must of hurt when they crashed. there is a video of kite foil guy towing another in and they are both up on the foil and traveling pretty fast
