Sailed VP this morning with 5.3 and was going well until getting totally overpowered after midday. Was pretty awesome!!
Left before the fan shutdown as I ran out out of wind!! Feel for those stuck out there. Been a fickle few days and different/changing forecasts. Who knows what the next day will be??

No downwinder today Cruiser1755. But great sail with EvilPanda at "The Grand" from 1 to 4pm. Gestalt went further north to Shearwaters. Must have been pretty good there too.

Yep, Shearwater was pumping for quite a while. It shut down about 4 or 4.30-ish. Wind was up and down. A 5.3 + 85 litre wavy was the go for this little sailor. Had a short paddle home.

the wind shut down at shearwater too around 4pm. i dredged back in up to my knees in water feeling very unsteady, had a few failed waterstarts and managed to find a gust to get up.

was well windy before that.

Hey Kerry, it could have been worse, you could have been on a 7 mtr kite. Luckily I missed the fun by being at work, next time maybe,

That's the way. You are a truly considerate sibling windy. You'd better sell his kite though to help pay for it. Do it now before he is released. You know your mum would want you to.
