The only flatwater spot for that wind and tide is The Train. Friday afternoon looks best. Hopefully make it from brisbane airport on time- planes trains and automobiles.
I can see the broadwater from here -the nerang river is in flood - the water is brown very high, regardless of the tide & who knows what is in it, eg logs sticks etc

Yer the Broadwater is very dirty but a lot of the debris has washed out already looks promising for this arvo...............the later the better so long as the clouds keep away, train i think but may need to launch from end of Central st as all the tradies and office workers now park at the train due to free parking
Wello was ok for about 3 hrs between 11 and 2 using a 7.2 with max downhaul and moderate outhaul. The approaching storm front seemed to start sucking up the wind and left me 2-3 klms off shore dredgeing nearly the whole way in.
Parking is becoming more of a problem so i will have to start considering other locations
