Thankyou for your good advise I'm going to have some lessons and look at the right board I'm 83 kgs and might need a bigger board than the 130 lts what do you think about the fanatic viper 80 190 lts for that weight thanks again Cheers from Overhauler

Some will disagree but i recon go a little on the smaller side rather then too big and push yourself a bit in the beginning. Use Nicks board from School of Surf to learn on if you go with him and then you will own a board you can step onto and won't grow out of too quick. It will be difficult in the initial stages but that won't last too long and you will come out the other side much better for it. Your progression time should be less doing it this way.
