I went to Golden Beach last Friday and was the only windsurfer there, although there were plenty of kite-surfers out nearer the mouth. I don't like to windsurf alone being somewhat inexperienced. Is there somewhere where people congregate midweek, or say Friday? 2 years ago I went to Wello on a Friday and it was packed. I don't think it was a public holiday or anything. I just feel braver when there are others around.

Manly and wello always seem to have someone around. Manly is good as its shallow along way out which makes you feel more secure when you are getting your skills together.

I'm pretty new to windsurfing as well...if there's any wind on tuesdays I'm normally out at manly...no wind on Tuesday for a while tho...I wonder if I bought a sup maybe the wind will return?
