Rig went for a solo wander, hit a rock, radial fracture resulted in mast severing about 40 cm from the tip. Cut away a cm of damaged carbon, sleeved with aluminium tube (old boom bit) and epoxy glue. To be tested this arvo....(might stay close to shore for starters.)
