Absolutly smoking at the bardge at the spit, only one windsurfer out but pleanty of us kiters.
Just left but was up around 25

Best day of sailing ive had to date.... to bad i got so cold my fingers were going to fall off :( got to get myself a proper wetsuit :)

Who was the other kid about my age down there today ?

That was switch (my son), man you made me feel cold you got to get a better wetsuit. good to see you out there today. It was a great day ive got the blisters to proove it.

That was awesome! Out at 8am and finished at 11am. Had it for an hour to myself which was nice. Powered up on 6.0.

Best Saturday Ive had for a while.

Good to see you out there Alex. And I think I even stayed in front of Merritt on a run. Nice!

Cool i've never seen another kid my age windsurfing before.... I was beginning to think i was the only one in Brisbane :(

great fun, albeit a bit gusty at the start. some nice flat freestyle water behind the sandbar on the dropping tide. was a great morning. hopefully more westerlies to come this winter

...here's some footage from yesterday morning. Still getting used to using the GoPro. Need to work on the angle and stopping droplets drying on the lens to get more usable footage.

Tristan, type in windsurfing at wellington point you will find some of my clips sailing up & down the other side of the bank in NEasters that side even flater but dosnt get as windy.

Your not the only one in Brisbane, Im 17 and windsurf on the gold coast however, I have to give wello ago someday it looks great, and more importantly close by.
