Any wind off the Ville Snork? ****ing none here for the 2nd weekend running. Been enough during the week, oh to be retired from that wheel

Not much here for past couple of weekends and yes when there is breeze it's during work! My last couple of sails have been longboard cruises

Well apart from a v cool 14 knot session on my Dyno last Wednesday after work. How could I forget that one!?!

looking good for a cyclone to develop next week should bring plenty of wind,get your small gear ready.

^ BOM 4 day forecast only now showing cyclone forming Tuesday and sitting pretty still. Don't need 50 knots, don't have a 1m sail. Hope it ****s off east

windy is showing it being drag out over top nz late next week ,

From 30 knots to bugger all in 24 hours. Yep, that's summer Lows in the tropics

Give me the 15-20 knot winter Highs any day.

This current SE system is doing just fine. 15 knots with better forecast tomorrow. Nice bump n jump session today.

There is no doubt June is the ****test month on the calendar for windsurfing here in Mackay. Hence bathroom and laundry renovation is making good progress.

So... putting it out there for the NQ crew. Who is keen for a gathering in Bowen on the 10/11 July, subject to weather shaping up OK. We all keep talking about it, time to make it happen folks. I need to get up there to pick up the new LT (thanks Dennis) so might as well make a weekend of it. Who's in? ...Troy

Just as well I now have one of those! Still 14 days out, so just planting a seed at this stage. Can easily be postponed to suit.

i really want to go but i have to go to gin gin that weekend can we change the dates
tides are better the next week

I am working round sailpilot's roster. Would need to be 2 weeks later, but that is right on the brink of GI nats, so won't work. Might play it by ear.

What's the location of the sailing spot in Bowen and what are the best tides and wind for it?

Out front of Port Denison sailing club, Gordon. Tides not as critical as Mackay, maybe a 50m carry at low tide. Hopefully we are not all locked in by then.
