There is next to no wind and there is lightning storms

Very unlikely, you may get 15/20mins infront of the storms and thats a big may.........

i got out at wello from 4pm, got about 1.5 hours of nice sailing in 12-15 knots behind the sand bank.

Went out at Central Street 115L and 7.5, had a couple of planing runs , wind was almost but not quite, close but no cigar.
