I got a really good sail on saturday from 4pm through till dark at the train - 22knts - It was very steady, tide was on its way in & was on the plane & knocking outo the gybes (to stay dry) first good long sail for a while - I saw other guys out ealier in the day I cycled along to see! not quite enough wind earlier on - i have been living at the broadwater a while and noticed at the New Warfe quite often the wind kicks in late just before or on dusk. I dunno why.

Hi Hitch, was that you? I was tempted to race home and grab my gear , I stopped in the car park for a bit to watch. The week before it kicked in late as well , was on my way home after waiting at Central Street and went past the Olympic pool and it looked as though it had kicked in , no one sailing though. Roll on September and some Northerlies
