best tide for the train

whats the best tide for a southerly at the train?

i'd imagine incoming tide making a squeeze???

Don't think it makes a huge amount of difference really as the tide isn't as fast as shearwater. For freestyle the lower the better as it exposes the sand.

I reckon it's nicer sailing slightly north and launching from KFC. You can crank up and downwind anyway to find nice flat water behind the sandbanks. I think these memories are for a northeaster thou so I'm probably wrong.

Eitherway, gonna be a good weekend and I got a new freestyle board wheeee

Train is sh1te in a southerly, it needs a true S.E. wind. It is not very tide effected.
Try Shearwater or the Grand.

+1 for Shearwater. The train sucks 98% of the time in my opinion. If you must go down that way then if the tide is high KFC is a better option. I recon if the wind has S in it it's S for Shearwater
