Water depth was mostly 2-3 feet, and it just keeps on going and going and going and going ...

Looks like Burrum Heads to me.

wello definitely on an easterly - it is about chest deep - that is low tide - I was up there for a sail for the first time on a westerly saturday two weeks ago - good spot - parking no good, but you can buy hot chips 15m from the rigging up area!!!

Apparently hot chicks just jump up and down on the beach here as well! This is gold! We need to organise a group trip over to this mysterious Cay. The tour boats seem to take people for around $90 each.

If there is no wind we could also just go and jump up and down the beach, seems like a good idea.
