Is there a spot near Currumbin that is suitable for novice windsurfers?

In a northerly you could sail in the creek, however be aware that it is a very short run and quite a busy spot, but it has in the past been possible to run back and forth to the west of the large sandbar in the creek.

I do run some lessons in the creek as it has a bit less boat traffic and is generally a little cleaner than the broad water.

If you are intermediate however you may find the length of run etc a bit limiting. Good for gybe practice though.
