I am hoping to find a Windsurfer One Design to borrow, (or exchange a modest gift for the lend) in early July 2012. I would like to follow my son around whilst he sails in the Optimist Class at the Queensland Youth Regatta at RQYS. Anyone have one or know of somebody with one? Thanks Dave

There are some techno293s at rqys. You may be able to borrow or rent one of those if they are not being used at the time.

I figure there are hundreds of Windsurfer One Designs sitting in garages but they are hard to find. I am grateful for your reply. If the board and sail are similar to a One Design I would feel comfortable on the board. I want to be able to float around on Moreton Bay to watch my son sail around a course so it does not have to be a great performer, just something that is comfortable and easy to manoeuvre, like a Windsurfer. The sailing is out of the RQYS from the 5th to 8th of July, inclusive. Thank you and Regards Dave
