forecast is looking ok for this saturday so i was wondering how the collective felt about a meet at victoria point?

were aiming for kirra but it just doesn't blow N anymore.

hmm i'm headed down to check out woolgoolga round of NSW WA.

Looks a tad greener on the sunshine coast at least according to seabreeze.... what are the good SE'lery spots up there? Anything flat water wise?

Hey swoosh, I'll camp at Lake Cootharaba, probably Elanda Point, from Fri. to Sun. Water should be flat there.

Went for a quick sail at manly this arvo. 5.7 wasn't too bad for a while, but undercooked towards the end. Fingers crossed for wind tomorrow

yeah, i went down and there were about 3 of us,

absolutely no wind.

Looking forward to it.

Both times i started to pack the car twice today to go to Vicky Pt it bucketed down.

All i wanted was 12-15 knts min, Whats doing with this whether?

Hey Ges, just a thought, but why dont why you hold the meet up here at Caloundra as there is a Jp and neil pryde demo day next weekend. I know gb is either hit or miss but it has potential and it would give everyone a good opportunity to try some new gear.

Yeah i had been talking with dieter last week about doing just that. i'll be sending out a club email tonight letting everyone know it's on.

i was keen to go but i unfortunately had a calender clash.

well it's on, my calender clash was on saturday and the meet is now pencilled in for sunday.

i'll do a follow up post tonight with the rest of the details plus send out a club email.

in short dieter is putting a massive amount of gear up for demo including freesatyle, freestyle wave and wave gear as well as freeride/slsalom and nearly every combination of rig setup to suit....

so it will be big!

dave, we need to touch base asap.

the wind fairies told me there are two more np/jp demos happening around bris and then goldcoast after that, should you happen to miss out on the sunnycoast demoday

Spoke to SCS and they told me that if the wind falls through this weekend they will hold the demo the weekend after.
