Windwanderers will hold the gold coast meet again on Saturday 7/3/09. The guys at surf FX have provided us with a cash voucher and give aways for the event.

If the wind ends up on the light side the event will still go ahead as planned.

Location is the train. bbq provided.

We will be pushing back the down winder to later in the year when the forecasts are more reliable and as a substitute will hold a freestlye session. (any board goes)

Surf FX have donated a shop voucher as a lucky draw for the person who’s name comes out of the hat as well as Neil Pryde caps and windscreen visors as prizes.
Prize classes will be best slide/ride, best sail spin, best transition and best loop.

Hope to see everyone on the day for a fun, social get together with a few prizes and a bbq thrown in for good measure.

when its been really busy the council guys have been pretty good about it so long as it's done in an orderly fashion and kept close to the actual car parks (not under trees, middle of park, waters edge etc)

Was disappointed about the day change as I have to work Sunday. But did get out this afternoon at Queens for a bit when the wind came up in the afternoon - just enough for me.
