next meet on the wanderers calender is the weekend of the 16th.

location is northern areas. will wait for forecast. on the table are, caloundra, bribie, mooloolaba areas.

Thanks Jolee, After forking out a small fortune for a couple of rings my partner asked me what i wanted, you guessed it, new board and sail, needless to say she was not impressed.
As for Sat, might try and get out for a covert session in the morning.
Ian, where were you on sunday? kurt and i got a nice session in at Redcliffe on a 7.2!

Hmm. I was up at Redcliffe on Sunday - there was no wind - more of an icecream and girlfriends day. Maybe you mean Saturday? I definitely missed a good day there because I wasn't paying attention.

Is this still a prospect for this weekend? At some point I will make it to another of these and might actually have a sail.

i will give the final word tonight once i get home from work and do a full run on the forecast models.........

i'm thinking beachmere at this point. the bom still persisting with 15-20 but marine forecast models saying change will not come through till 4-5pm.

to be honest, i don't think beachmere is worth it unless its pumping at least solid 20kts+ to 25kts.

does that place at bribie work in the wind direction? some nice blue water would be lovely

if it's flukey bribie can be intimidating as it's deep water stuff. pebble beach is another option which is between beachmere and bribie. only works at high tide. is a freestyle/speed spot.

i was also thinking caloundra bar/northern end of bribie or the lookout/woorim again???????

i'm easy either way. i went away from caloundra as the change may come through p there too late.

tomorrow is being postponed for a week.

having trolled through all of the forecasts the weather people are suggesting the southerly change will not come through till late arvo. unfortunately that won't allow enough time to hold a proper meet.

the goldy will see it earlier maybe around 3pm

11-16?

i have 2 of them i bought last year. one went faulty about a month after I bought it. I sent it away for repair at the start of Feb and never saw it again as the service agent can't get parts due to Tokina Japan closing down from the earthquake. I'm glad I bought a second but hope it doesn't go faulty too. Many have this faulty apperture issue and the camera will report a lens connection fault at certain F stops

oh dear,

that sucks, sorry to hear that,

i hope that doesn't happen to me......... so far no issues but it hasn't been very long, it's my first decent lens and i've been using it a lot for work. it's images a fantastic.

So true, i keep trying to get covert afternoon sessions in but its getting harder now as the nights are closing in. Its not my wedding this wedding this weekend its next, so im going to get out on sunday.
