The only reason it was windy on the weekend is because I decided to buy a tinnie out of "lack of wind" frustration. I packed up the kids and went to the lake for its maiden voyage and what do you know, 25 knots from the SE. Got 50m from the shore and the kids are screaming.

Ditch the kids and head out myself and almost manage to flip the thing on top of myself as I gunned it into the wind with the canopy up.

I know boats!

Wish I was there with you mate, after a couple of beers that would have been a huge giggle.
