One brave sole went out with an 8.0m and didn't even get on the plane.

I went to Wello for the first time in years (I'm a VP man). It was probably the best speed sail I have had for ages. The bank was perfect with an easterly of about 20 kts and the bank half exposed. I heard speeds of 37 kts mentioned. That was before the wind died a little I think around 1pm or so. Don't know what happened after that though.
I only had a 5.3 and was powered up nicely but I'm only 70kgs.
Sorry Manly was off, but I think it may have been ok up till 1pm??

Had one of my best sails ever at Wello today. Pretty sure everyone there would have got over 30 knots today, lots of wind and very flat.

Wind was great from 11am till 1pm and then came in again at about 2pm until 4:30pm when the rain set in.

Went to Wello as well. Best day for speed so far. Didn't have my GPS but spent the day chasing Vando and Brad. Was fun

Wello rocked today. Good to meet Greg, and try (I wish) to keep up with Merrit. Great day on the west side of the sand spit. I think that is the fastest I've gone. 😄 need a gps when sailing there, they should rent them in the carpark 😄

So Wello is the go tomorrow then.

Hey guys can I get an update on the Jelly's. Is it still shocking?

There was a patch on the eastern side but on the western side was only the odd one which was great. First session for a while without been stung. Yay!

Thank gaawd I'd almost given it up thx to them.
