Had a run at Wello today in a northerly. Its something I've been told about but never managed until today. I am here to tell you I am a convert. The waves break on the reef out by the last leads and it is a heap of fun. Full pelt into a fully formed wave is a great way to have fun in the bay.

There were a crap load of jellyfish but luckily I managed to avoid them for the most part but it was worth risking a sting or two for the ramps.

Its even better on a lower tide....but the jellies, they are the zombies of the sea. They will paralyse you and feast on your brain.
