Hello people!

I noticed a nice sign, something like "kite surfing equipment is forbidden, fines apply" at the end of Main rd (at the entrance of Wellington Point cape).

I am just curious:

If it is really enforced?

and if "yes", then those people who collect fines, do they understand the difference between kite surfing and windsurfing?

MAAATE the world has changed - I saw two council officers going along collecting the money out of parking meters here on the gold coast, and they both had hand guns strapped to thier legs!!! what is worse than a parking officer giving you a ticket for parking on the grass??? ONe with a handgun!

was it possibly taser guns? seems rather extreme for parking meter collections to carry a pistol. I would believe it though

I believe if you park on the grass at the train its the bigger fine of $300, not the usual $50, i got one down the spit near the dredge along that peninsular sailing one day, took a pic of the line under a puddle were you couldnt see it and got off with it

Is it everywhere or there should be some sign that forbids parking of the grass? (btw, I have seen many cars parked on the grass at Currumbin, and regretted that I can not drive there without 4wd)
