Bayside Sailboard Club would just like to make mention and congratulate the efforts of Brad Anderson. Recently Brad set a new benchmark for the Nautical mile in Australia. He went on and bettered this on the weekend, as well as setting the highest 2 sec peak in Qld. Brad also dominates the slalom course proving by far that he is the stand out speed and slalom sailor in Qld.

He doesn't say much, but as a club we are quite proud of his efforts.

Well done Brad, the speeds you have recorded would take a lot of time and dedication to achieve.

The speeds and distances were not mentioned in the post so if you have them I am sure a lot of people would be interested to see them. The last I heard was a 38knot average over one mile. If this is correct it is absolutly mind blowing achievement.
