Has anyone sailed that chanel to the north of BC's course in the photo? It leads to the boat channel through Fisherman's Island and into Brisbane River. I've been there at low tide on my jetski and its very flat when the banks are up.

It was one of the 1st spots we discussed when we were searching for flat water with the whole gps thing. The run is a bit short/at a bad angle or something like that, someone did sail it. It's also not easily accessible should you break something. I might take another look at it when I sort my boat out, like the creek anything works on it's day and surely the run is longer than cabbage tree.

Not as good as a full on race board up wind , but reaching was great never felt like triping a rail . Got onto plane maybe a knot or two less than a full on slalom with a 8 to 9 metre sail .
