Marine weather services says the wind will kick in at about 1pm. Yesterday was good and it looks like being the same.

I'm up the sunny coast (hinterland) and am looking to make the trip down to mooloolaba within the next couple of hrs...

Is this shaping up to be just like yesterday? did you get out yesterday? if so how strong?

Mucksy, I got out yesterday at about one thirty at Manly. Started off on 6m sail but had to change up to a 7m at about three pm. Continued to sail till four fully powered up. A good unpredicted breeze. Dont know about Mooloolaba thou ?

just been watching the surf cams and the alex headland surf cam shows the swimmers flags flapping and flying away so there must be something down there!

I reckon I'll go check it out...

Redcliffe is starting to look good. I'm packing the car and going to check it out

just got back from mooloolaba....

wasnt that good.... Gear was a little small (6.1 and 91ltr) and wind didnt really settle in... got a few runs tho...

Hopefully there will be more on the weekend....
