Had a great sail today even though it was patchy.

Sailed on a 6.2m and 122l x-cite ride, changed to the short board 112 freestyle wave for a bit but it was much harder with the patchy wind.

Plenty of windsurfers out there today, and only about 3 or 4 kiters. It's great to see everyone having a sail, but it's even nicer to see more windsurfers to kiters.

Hears hoping we get some more wind soon.

I so need new gear!!!!! :)

Yep great arvo. Topped off a nice three day session with plenty of wind in the right direction and tides.
Great to see so many boards out - I counted I think 17 yesterday and that was only those on the water, may have been more in the rigging area!
Starting to get hard to get a good carpark, have to keep this place quiet..........
Bad rigging area, no carparks, stonefish, stingrays and bull sharks, mud, etc etc, awful place!

The kiters were out in force in the morning on the low tide. I think they like the flatter water. I was the only windsurfer out trying to round them up like a sheep dog.

Great morning at VP today (24 Jan). Tide in, enough wind to get up & going & sun out. Counted around 12 boards on the water (plus more rigging up) when I packed up around noon.

Good to catch up with you yesterday Mal and you're right, there were a lot of sails out. Great big-sail day! Good to see young beginners out too.
