Was thinking of heading to Cudgen today but it looks a bit protected in a true Northerly so was thinking Currumbin may be better. What's the general consensus?

Was an awesome day at Cudgen, only 5 out today but all of us were having a ball. She worked a treat even with very little east in it.

Be careful, with all this wind you might forget how to get on the plane in 2 knots on a 3.0 sail Hairy. Seriously though, it feels like the qld of old more and more each day. I'm loving it too, also enjoying the new challenge of the Wavesailing.

Queens Beach report form Wed - howling, hot & good bay swells. I reckon Jellies make up 20% of the bay now, soft landings from wipe-outs though

I take it back, i was silly enough to take the piss out of Bill for wearing shorts over his stinger suit, i made some stupid comment about looking like a kiter. After Blasting out at Queens and then stacking it right in the biggest concentration of jellies I have ever seen my legs were red raw with stings. Today I bought some long compression pants to wear under my shorts. I might look a idiot but won't get stung again.

Having said that queens was awesome, that session rated as one of my best. Great to see so many windsurfers out, the bay swell was so big I saw two guys on surf boards catching waves at the far end of the beach!!

On another note, can beachmere be sailed on a NE?

Hey Lee I have had the worst luck with that, i was at the shearwater and came off face first into one. I pretty much half my face burnt (got some weird looks at work the next day). Last time out at Wynnham i recon i could have walked back across them, if i hadn't had to swim back after breaking my boom I recon beachies woudl be rad in a NE
