HAnging around all week trying to use my new gear, and no luck,
Anyway, flying to the snow on Friday, so what's coming next week ??
A ruddy great southerly change, of course !!
That'd be right !!!
Don't use all the wind while I'm gone guys.

Yeah, trouble was, I had no internet, so I had no idea what the charts were doing, and no-one rang and told me. Monday was a nightmare of moving with a few work hours wedged in and Tuesday was "shattered and recovering" day.
SO, big whinge !! Now settled in a Casurina, so am looking forward to lots of sailing through autumn and maybe even some trips away.
I thought about trying Ballina, but I've never sailed there, and figured parking wold be a nightmare all over.
Never mind, got a bunch more unpacking done today, and am looking forward o getting a clot on the plane on the way to wintry USA for some powder days for the next few weeks.
Not doing Whistler this year, but have been there 4 times and love the place. They have had 9.8m of snow so far, which is an epic year. Wer are going to Colorado, staying in Avon, with a pass to 6 resorts, including Vail, Beaver Creek etc, so lots of pow-pow to look forward to. We do know a guy at Whistler we can stay with though, and it's possible we will go yet.

The reports I've seen from Japan this year have been very good.
Maybe next year we'll do Japan. Not booking until the last minute next year, so we can be sure of good snow.

Hi buddy,

I'll be in Niseko from the 11th. Looks like an epic year (already a 3m base!). I just got a bunch of new gear that I can't wait to try out. Sounds like you will be there around the same time.We should hook up for some Sake!
