Sunshine was the name of the most popular recreational drug and the brightly coloured Valiant panel van used for distribution in the late 50's early 60s in the region.

Not real but a lot more interesting than a bunch of real estate floggs coming up with the name to appeal to southerners and sell them land in 58'.

The Sunny Coast will clear up before Greenland though, I think, maybe.
Greenland gets some pretty good wind I see, a lot more than Puerto Rico.

I think that it was originally called the North Coast, but it changed to being the Sunshine Coast in more recent times. Please feel some pity for people like me who grew up on the Gold Coast. There is no gold and I aint rich!

The Sunshine Coast is sunny in winter, which is not much but much better than the freezing winters down south.

Yeah , I don't miss Vic at all . Apart from better restaurants, it's full of overpaced pushy people . I only realised how bad it was till I moved up here .
One more bloody Mexican , I can only apologise.
