might be better going wello considering the wind direction? manly always seems quite gusty unless it's at least SSE in which case I much prefer it.

I'm still at home watching ,waiting, anticipating.(isnt that a song). Its a bit like yesterday, swinging from SSW to S to SSE,some good puffs (20 knots) and some lulls ,(5 knots). My windmeter is currently reading 15 knots S, but I'm partially sheltered from the SSW...I think I'll go to Manly at this stage.

Hows the parking Scottie ? Seems a bit more southerly now. Think I'll check out Manly first.

Got got an early mark from VP courtesy of a broken mast. Was good while it lasted. Biggest crowd I've seen there for a while, and its winter!!

Manly this afternoon was CRAP! Wind disappeared and then it was ride on a gust if you were lucky and then bog through the lulls. Very disappointing compared to yesterday.

Murarrie - at VP, the sailboarders use the western side of the park at Thompsons Beach, the kiters the eastern side, sort of developed like that especially lately where they have been coming there I think due to Wello discouraging them. More's the pity......

Sorry mate, had left to rig at this point. Went off early but got caught later with a drop in wind and tide assuring me of an awkward slog home trying not to get stuck on the reef in bare feet.
