Kirra is easy-peasy and I can't wave surf, honest. My sum windsurf experience is only 3 years of weekends with some breaks. Big, nasty chop is harder than small Kirra, and you get chop that big at Wello.
What the hell are you talking about man? That was
hard ...ish. You crazy.
Dead onshore is tricky. Still, I got most air-time ever, and even landed the second one. Got going scary fast out the back too. Slightly overpowered on the 5.4. Hey, I think I can even float up/climb whitewater now.
Thanks guy whose name I forget but you had the purple NP and you run the online windsurf mag. Would never have made it out if I didn't trek 200km up the beach first.
But, for a first real sail in months and months, that was completely
exhausting, and very satisfying. Don't fall in over near Greenmount, the current will take your sail and do what it wants with it.
Had a really nice flatwater/b&j sail off land's end on way home too.
