Does anyone have advice on Saturday's forecast? Is it good for Wello Point or Manly?

Halve the wind speed and find a spot that faces south. Learn to travel a bit to match the conditions otherwise turning up at the local spot May lead to disappointment.

AntsC - If its more southerly, head down to manly, you could launch from Rose Bay which is safer for Beginners.

Ifs its more SW head over to Wellington Point and launch on the western side.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I might check in tomorrow again before I head out. The only sail I have is a 7.8m, I'm only concerned that it might be too strong for me and a sail that size?

Caloundra. Big Will's keen for a little QFWA "Expression Session" action tomorrow and, from the sounds of it, he's not the only one!

If you go earlier it should be lighter. Maybe invest in a smaller sail to cover your bases. Check out the shop 'board crazy'.Either way you should come down and have a look, most of the guys are friendly and up for a chat.
