We're supposedly doing a test run on the Tandem today, so that Pete can know the best footstrap position's to finish her off.

I'm going to head over to Sandstone in a bit, heaps of water but just not enough wind yet

Pete & Dags on the tandem today. Very light winds but managed 20 knots. Image doesn't do it justice, this taken as they returned to shore - and photo bombed by a speeding bird!

Anyone get out on Sunday arvo?
More importantly, did everyone get back when that change came through??

Ballast, it came in strong 25+ at GB just before dark. Wind swell so big my stepdaughter surfed the shorebreak where we sailed Saturday.

Yeah, Dag was going over to Sandstone to do a lesson over the high tide. There's only 10kn so you'll need a raceboard or longboard.

Good to get out for a lightwind session with Tony

Beautiful day at Sandstone today, wind was a bit up and down though. Got there to see Parso getting blown off the water with a 6.5 so rigged a 6.5 thinking it'd be perfect. Go to get in the water and notice the wind has dropped so quickly rig a 7.5, had a bit of fun but was never really fully powered. Could have got away with the 9 but couldn't be bothered rigging another sail up so made do. Sunny skies and clean water till I started to hit the bottom and packed up. Mark was cruising around comfortably and Jeff turned up late and didn't get in till I was getting out. Thursday looks frightening on the forecast but tides are good for Sandstone so I might have a crack.

Hopefully it's not like a mini cyclone with horizontal rain and general nastiness, it's not looking very pleasant for this fair weather sailor

Hiding in the car. Trying to get my mojo going so I can tackle the conditions

My mojo slipped back into neutral, it never really got out of 1st gear from when I woke up and it was raining and miserable. I'm a fair weather sailor, I'm not going outdoors when it's like this

Another good day at Sandstone until the end of the day we could not find our Jeffrey. Marine Rescue, three or four winds Surfers ,2 kiteboarders, 3 and a half hours later we found him Safe & Well.

All three. That's a good one.

I think we need to get him chipped, in case he goes missing again. Or maybe fixed up so he doesn't wander so far.

Maybe something that gives him a zap if he strays outside a certain area or time
