Asking redcliffe windsurfers, does the seabreeze 'redcliffe' forecast show true current windspeeds? or do you usually take like 5knots off for a more realistic wind on the water?
I dont wanna drive ther to find 8knots thx :D

Inner Beacon is the best reading for Redcliffe in a SE're and NE'er. It's a fair way out to sea, but I've been sailing at Redcliffe for years and I think its quite accurate.

I'm not 100% sure where the Redcliffe station is (I assume its on the Redcliffe pier or somewhere?). It generally reads lower than it is.

Rule of thumb for Brisbane. Redcliffe is 5 knots stronger than everywhere else in a SE'er and Manly/Wynnum area is 5 knots stronger than everywhere else in a NE'er.
