I re-gripped my old Loft carbon boom this weekend with the help of Vando very happy with how it turned out hardest part was cleaning the old grip off I tried Acetone that was not too good then I tried turps that was better but I ran out so I used petrol which worked even better.
After 3 hours of scrapping soaking I had cleaned it up.
I went around Vando's place too glue the grip on as he had done some booms before after letting it dry over night I just cut the over lay off with a very sharp hobby knife.

I got too say the boom looks like new.
Thanks Vando for the help.

Toluene removes boom grip, dissolves the glue. Available from paint shops by the litre.
