That's fair enough but maybe she's reading a little optimistic regarding velocity.

No idea, Inner Beacon seems to be saying about the same but I'm not on the beach at Manly right now so I couldn't really say.

Does/can it show a trend of previous readings for the day?

Ask the guys in the marine radio room next time your there, they installed it I think, they mentioned a webcam as well but not sure if that is happening or not.

It doesn't seem to be working.
Nothing seems to be changing.
The wind direction is fixed in ENE and the wind has been 10kn for ever.

must be the link to the internet, the readings seem spot on in the radio room onsite but they are very different to what you see online

According to the RQYS weather station it has been 10-11 knots ENE constantly for several weeks now...
