Hello, I'm taking a honeymoon to Carins so that my fiancee can do some diving there. It seems like a senic area with lots to do. July appears to be the best month for wind and I'm wondering where I can score some intermediate to expert wavesailing in Queensland at that time.

I will be renting gear which seems to be an issue. We could take a flight or two to hit some sonic spots with wavesailing if that is a better option. We may spend some time in Sydney and possible New Zealand during our two week trip. Nothing is planned yet and my dates/month of visit is flexible but I want to be sure I can get in some sailing!! Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!

Green island cairns is a great spot.... But not wave sailing more bump and jump, plenty of wind and warm water sailing. the further south towards brisbane - Gold Coast the less wind there is, no true wave sailing that time of year
