It's in Redcliffe. Just cross the bridge, turn right onto the hornibrook esplanade and then left onto oxley ave. then it's just a right onto queen st. Just be aware that oxley st will feel like crossing the nullabore when it's blowing and you are amped for a sail.

Hi,

What is the best wind for Queens Beach?

SE to N is best. If the wind is due South then there is a large wind shadow getting off the beach. NE is great for B & J and in strong SE there can be some huge ramps. In a strong S Suttons is also good. There's always plenty of parking at Queens and nice grassy areas for rigging.

quickest way nth along the Redcliffe Nullarbor is Victoria Ave. Only a couple of sets of lights & mostly roundabouts, right into Griffith & straight line east to Queens.
Been building nicely all morning, looking to some Monday arvo northerly fun...

Monday at Queens was straight NE, not much swell & a few jellies: 5.2-6.3 depending on kegs, all on 90-100+ltr boards. Good fun & on the plane 95%
Tuesday looking a touch stronger, heading down in an hour or so.

I got out there on Moday about 1ish and sailed till 3. I was able to get going every run with a 5.5m on a 99L board. Was having a great time till my boom clamp broke.
