Joanna Sterling won the Sail Sydney Techno 293 class just completed today on Sydney Harbour (note: beat all the boys!). Reece Baillie came second. Then a whole bunch from NSW. Great news for Qld Youth windsurfing!- First and second.
Conditions were challenging - light and shifty and up to 17 knots not to mention dodging ferries, container ships and penguins.

Luke Baillie competed in the RSX class and finished 6th overall and won one race, second in another. Not bad considering there were 4 Olympians in the fleet. Joel Tyack came 8th.

Great effort guys, congratulations.

All those hard hours of training are paying off. I always feel for you when we go out for a bump and jump session and see you in training when you would probably prefer to be playing.

keep up the good work.

Well that explains why I couldn't catch Joanna a month ago at Wello.
She's officially fast :)
Well done Jo :)
