The QLD Youth Week regatta has 14 board entries! Three days down, one remaining. There is a current tie for first between QLD's Hailey Lee and NSW's Grae Morris, followed by SA's Samuel Magarey. Hoping for some breeze tomorrow. There has been some very cool drone footage of the event and it's so great to see multiple states involved in the event in the board class. Here's a few images of them at the start of day 1.

Congratulations to Hailey Lea from Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club for winning the Bic Techno 293 class division at the 2017 Musto Queensland Youth Week Regatta hosted by Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. The regatta drew leading youth windsurfers from as far afield as Adelaide. Hailey was on the podium last year for success in the Sabot class, which showcases her talent on both dinghies and windsurfers.

we the family with caravan, 4 kids (5,8,10,11) heaps of gear (what do we take) from Melbourne going to Gold Coast for the fun parks, then Noosa caravan park and 1770 one week each.

Will we be windsurfing at Noosa or 1770?

Three kids and I have 2 spare days before wife arrives Gold Coast where should we go and sail? Will the kids sail Gold Coast? Is that Morton Bay that I see in some of the photos in the Qland forums? Looks good

Youth sessions every Saturday morning at Royal Qld Yacht Squadron in Brisbane. Bring your kids and join in if you can spare the time.
