The QLD Windsurfer One Design State Championships have been rescheduled for Easter weekend - 29th March to 2 April at Lake Cootharaba.

He's hoping for a good attendance to make it a worthwhile event and training for the upcoming Australian Championships in Jan 2017 (40th Anniversary - it'll be a big one!).

Very disappointing to hear as a lot of monies was spent by the attendees last week at Windfest. Also the short notice makes its even harder for people to attend being Easter and holidays so zero accommodation available. Was advised it would take place 30th April - 1st May..!

Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club has been advised that they have been rescheduled to 30 April - 1 May Tim. Our regatta that weekend includes the Queensland Raceboard Championships, and we have incorporated them in that.

Re windsurfer State titles whoever posted the dates at the end of March is incorrect the State tiitles are sheduled for the dates of 30th of April and the first of May 2016(, reason for rerun is lack of participants to make a series,) Further anouncement will be at a later date . There is also a warm up or practice day set out for the 17 the of April to meet at Bribie at the carpark L/H side before the bridge at 10 am then we will go to place suitable for some practice we would like to encourage all sailors who have a one design to make it anyone who would like to participate but does not have a O/D board let us know and we will bring one we would also like to invite the race boards if thy would like some practice
