have been watching the weather systems and noticed that whenever we get a high sitting over NZ we get great N-NE winds.

a couple of years ago vando and myself checked gps data against BOM map archives and noticed that every northerly he sailed in corresponded with a high over NZ,

so NZ's loss is our gain.

Well, somethings's gotta do it.
I'm looking at the forecast, and seeign a whole lotta great northerlies next week here on the Goldie, and happy as a clam.
In fact, the wind for the next week gels perfectly with me for time to get out there.
Great sail at Currumbin yesterday too, for a half dozen guys in a nice cross-shore, crystal water, and a small swell.
Lotsa ****-eating grins !!

yeah - i reckon the marine services is pretty spot on 90% of the time hey. also gives good variation between where to sail as you can actually see the windier spots. i dont use anything else really.
