^ Beware anybody who claims to be making their season debut! They've probably just finished an intensive training regime.

Will be good to see you there John. Remember "PPSC: Paradise one day, low tide the next".

Put me down for another one on the water- at the back of the fleet. If anyone is travelling big distance and wanted to camp over- I have plenty of back yard space to throw a tent not a huge distance from the venue.

If intensive training regime includes occasionally sailing my free race board, then you should be worried, otherwise, as usual, I'll be making sure everyone gets home.

Thanks to everyone who turned up to make this a success today. Wished for a bit more wind for the second race but as Max said- it was better than sailing in the Baltic Sea in Europe. Commiserations to Duncan- travelled all the way from Cootharabah to have gear failure before even getting on the water. Particular congratulations to Brendan for race 1 win and Gosha(???) from Poland for taking home the six pack of beer for the second race.

Paul, thanks for hosting today's races. It was good to get back on the raceboard. The beer was good too.

Thanks John- but all credit needs to go to Brendan for getting this organised. I was just along for the sail. Beer is not a weekly item- only for the Longboard Invitational Races.

A big thank you to all for making the effort to come along and to John from PPSC for hosting us. Thanks Paul for supplying the beer. Much needed after 2 races. Great to have some international visitors too. The results will be up in the fullness of time.

Here is Gosia from Poland getting some Aussie tuning tips...

This Aussie training regime appears to work well for our European experts. Max Wojcik (current world Raceboard Champion) had a couple of great races with us and appeared to enjoy the Australian training- beer in hand for post race de-briefing. How good was it to have sailors of this calibre walk (sail) among we mere mortals. So Gosia goes out on a 20+ year old board (older than she is) and kicks butt big time- Go Gosia- you earned your multiple beers.

Quick question: Did anyone else get heaps of bites (like sandflies but not as bad) after Sunday?
